Dark Belgian Candi Sugar adds to the beer’s colour and is usually used with a Dubbel. The dark sugar gives flavours of caramel, raisins, and burnt sugar.
A sugar that is 100% fermentable and therefore is great to use in brewing beer and as a priming sugar for bottling and kegging.
Light Belgian Candi Sugars are used in lighter beers light the Belgian Tripel.
