In the golden summer sunlight, a Golden Ale is a great beer to reach for in the heat. Lower in ABV but big on taste! A refreshing beer, quenching your beer-thirst with a malty flavour. Fruity, floral, and citrusy notes can be picked up in a beer that is referred to as a ‘gateway’ beer to the world of craft brewery.
The BJCP describes an English Golden Ale as “A hop-forward, average-strength to moderately-strong pale bitter. Drink-ability and a refreshing quality are critical components of the style.“

Cologne, Germany, has more breweries in this town than any other town does in the world. Kolsch is not only the dialect spoken in Cologne but also the preferred beer that has been protected geographically. A crisp, dry, and light ale-styled beer that is traditionally served Kolsch upon Kolsch until you ask the server to stop pouring you another Kolsch. So how could you go wrong with this traditional beer? You can’t!
Although there is no cream in it (aaahhhhhh!!!), a Cream Ale is considered to be “an Ale that drinks like a Lager”. Quicker to ferment than a lager yet sharing the same qualities, this beer was seen as a great way to serve the masses and make money off it. This beer became popular when the German population rose in the United States in the late 19th century.
A crisp, light-bodied pale ale, using a warm fermentation and cold lagering and the use of maize to give it a lighter body and flavour.
It is believed that Belgian Wit bier is a recipe that comes from the monks, as early as the 15th century. Called a Witbier due to the hazy colour of the beer, and a creamy mouthfeel. Additions of bitter orange peel and coriander seeds are also synonymous when it comes to your traditional Witbier, where spices and fruits were used traditionally instead of hops. Refreshing, spicy, with a fruit finish, and a dense white head, this is a beer that is enjoyed whether the weather makes you sweat or shake.
