Delicious English Ale Recipe – Made with our own Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract

This english ale recipe is our basic brew recipe for using our own liquid malt extract to make a bginner style beer. We’re busy bottle condition and will update with some pictures once we have tasted it!

Update 1 – 1 Week bottle conditioning, and just look at that beautiful color! Tastes great but still needs to bottle condition and mature!

IBU : 27 (Tinseth)
Color : 23 EBC
Carbonation : 1.5 CO2-vol

Pre-Boil Gravity : 1.041
Original Gravity : 1.046
Final Gravity : 1.008

Fermentables (3.3 kg)

1.8 kg – Cactus Craft Pale Liquid Malt Extract (LME) (Unhopped)
1 kg – Cactus Craft – Light Dry Malt Extract (DME) 6.5 °L (30.3%)
500 g – Corn Sugar (Dextrose) 0 °L (15.2%)

Hops (74 g)

60 min – 35 g – East Kent Goldings (EKG) – 5%…
30 min – 12 g – – 5% (5 IBU)
5 min – 12 g – – 5% (1 IBU)

Dry Hops

14 days – 15 g – Amarillo – 9.2%

11 g – Fermentis SafAle English Ale S-04
