El Dorado is a special dual purpose hop variety with exception aroma qualities and high alpha acids. This is a relatively new hop that originates from a sub-growing district of the Yakima Valley, USA.
El Dorado hops consistently elicit responses of fruity notes, specifically tropical fruit flavors. Other fruit notes offered have been pear, watermelon candy and stone fruit.
