Gelatine- 100g
Used as a fining agent in your brew and helps to clarify your beer. When mixed with water gelatine will create a thin solution that is positively charged and this will attract negatively charged particles (proteins and yeast). This whole ‘clump’ settle at the bottom of your fermenter.
Instructions:
Boil 250 ml water and let cool to 65˚C or below.
Measure out 1 teaspoon of gelatin and dissolve in the water. (1teaspoon of gelatin is enough for 18L of brew)
Pour mixture into your fermenter and allow the beer to stand for 2 days and clear. You can also cold crash to speed up the clearing process.
Bottle or keg as usual.
